Volleyball Recap: Copper Canyon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Copper Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 1st.

Copper Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for La Joya Community, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Copper Canyon is set to challenge their familiar foe Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, La Joya Community will square off against rival Sierra Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
