Softball Recap: Waverly Falls Short of Jackson in the Playoffs

Waverly and Jackson squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Waverly had to settle for second. They fell 5-0 to the Ironman/Ironladies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ironman/Ironladies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in March.

Waverly dropped their record down to 7-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Jackson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Waverly nor Jackson have any future games scheduled.
