Basketball Recap: San Gabriel Takes a Loss

San Gabriel was the 57-48 winner over Victor Valley when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Matadors received a blow on Friday as they fell 69-52 to the Jackrabbits. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Victor Valley can attribute much of their success to DEANTHONY DYER, who went 8-for-14 en route to 16 points. Another player making a difference was SUNNI BROWN, who posted ten points.

San Gabriel's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Victor Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

San Gabriel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-43 defeat against El Rancho on the 28th. As for Victor Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-48 loss against Salesian on the 28th.
