Basketball Recap: Pat Feamster Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Friends Select

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Friends' Central walked away with it. They had just enough and edged Friends Select out 70-67. This was a revenge game for Friends' Central: when they faced off against Friends Select last Tuesday, they had to take a 55-47 loss.

Friends' Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Pat Feamster out in front who went 8 of 14 en route to 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Moore, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 19 points.

Friends' Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Friends Select, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Friends' Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Audenried at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Friends Select does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
