Softball Recap: Jacobs Comes Up Short

Jacobs fell victim to Crystal Lake Central and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Jacobs now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Crystal Lake Central, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Coincidentally, Jacobs and Crystal Lake Central will both be playing McHenry the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Golden Eagles will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
