Robertson and Tohatchi are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Robertson Cardinals duke it out with Tohatchi Cougars at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Robertson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 54-11 win over Sandia Prep. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Sundevils: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Tohatchi humbled Cuba with a 65-24 victory. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Rams are ranked 94th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tohatchi is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points over those games. Robertson's win bumped their record up to 20-9.

Robertson beat Tohatchi 37-27 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Robertson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
