Softball Recap: Grayslake Central Takes a Loss

Grayslake Central fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Antioch on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 9-4 to the Sequoits. The Rams have struggled against the Sequoits recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Emma Andrews was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Grayslake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Antioch, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-12.

Coincidentally, Grayslake Central and Antioch will both be playing Lakes the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Eagles at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Sequoits will head out to face them at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
