Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Downey back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1.

Lincoln has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Downey, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Quarry Lane on the 11th. As for Downey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Central Catholic on the 11th.
