Basketball Recap: South Burlington Wins Going Away Against Rice Memorial

South Burlington won the last time they faced Rice Memorial and things went their way on Tuesday too. The South Burlington Wolves enjoyed a cozy 57-39 victory over the Rice Memorial Green Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

South Burlington's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Rice Memorial, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

South Burlington and Rice Memorial could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Vermont Rankings. South Burlington will square off against North Country Union at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday down 35 places (38 vs. 3). Similarly, Rice Memorial (ranked 44th) will meet Burlington (ranked fourth) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
