Basketball Recap: Sheyenne Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Minot, Sheyenne was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took down the West Fargo Packers 60-45. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Packers, too.

Sheyenne's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for West Fargo, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheyenne and Fargo South will compete for holiday cheer at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Sheyenne is facing Fargo South at the right time seeing as Fargo South is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for West Fargo, they will be home for the holidays to greet Moorhead at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
