Preview: Kalamazoo HomeSchool Cougars vs. Howardsville Christian Eagles
The Kalamazoo HomeSchool Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Howardsville Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Kalamazoo HomeSchool made easy work of Battle Creek Academy and carried off a 50-25 win. That 25 points margin sets a new team best for Kalamazoo HomeSchool this season.
Even though Howardsville Christian has not done well against Our Lady of the Lake Catholic recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Howardsville Christian enjoyed a cozy 41-26 victory over Our Lady of the Lake Catholic. The win was just what Howardsville Christian needed coming off of a 44-24 loss in their prior game.
Kalamazoo HomeSchool pushed their record up to 4-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Howardsville Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Kalamazoo HomeSchool didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Howardsville Christian in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 47-42 victory. Will Kalamazoo HomeSchool repeat their success, or does Howardsville Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
