Baseball Recap: Del Norte Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Del Norte had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Arcata Tigers by a score of 13-10. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-0 on Saturday.

Del Norte let Anthony Cardenas and Aidan Rice run wild. Cardenas scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances, while Rice scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs Cardenas has posted since back in March of 2024.

Del Norte's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Arcata, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
