Softball Recap: Speedway Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Speedway can now relate to. They lost 13-3 to the Cascade Cadets on Tuesday. The Sparkplugs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Josie Griner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Speedway's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Cascade, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Speedway nor Cascade have any future games scheduled.
