Basketball Recap: Rangeview Raiders vs. Vista PEAK Prep Bison
Rangeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Vista PEAK Prep Bison. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bison earlier this season, when they won 48-46.

Despite the loss, Rangeview saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zania Romero-King went 6-for-9 on her way to 15 points and four steals. Romero-King also set a new season-high mark in field goal percentage with 67%. Jaya Santana was another key player, putting up 11 points.
