Soccer Recap: Linfield Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Linfield Christian managed to keep up with Temecula Valley until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lions lost 4-1 to the Golden Bears. While losing is never fun, Linfield Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 653rd, while Temecula Valley are ranked 295th).

Linfield Christian's goal came courtesy of Landon Waddell, who's now up to three this season.

Linfield Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-3 record this season. As for Temecula Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linfield Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Woodcrest Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Linfield Christian's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Temecula Valley, they will host San Jacinto at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
