Basketball Recap: Seligman Victorious

Seligman won against Ash Fork on Wednesday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Antelopes snuck past the Music Mountain Warriors with a 51-46 victory. The win continues a trend for the Antelopes in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Music Mountain lost, don't look at Micah Quasula. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-16 to rack up 20 points and four steals. Quasula has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Marshall, who posted seven points and three steals.

Seligman's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Seligman will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mogollon at 7:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Music Mountain, they will square off against Red Mesa at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
