On Saturday, Plainfield got the W thanks in part to Landon Gilliatt playing the best basketball he has all season. Gilliatt dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten assists, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Gilliatt and Plainfield will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Northview at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. Gilliatt will face off against Brayden Goff, the Knights' star point guard. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
