Anclote is a perfect 10-0 against Gulf since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Anclote Sharks will be playing at home against the Gulf Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. Anclote is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Anclote came up short against Seminole and fell 9-6.

Anclote saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Brasby, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Nathan Langley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Gulf fell victim to Seven Rivers Christian and their airtight pitching crew last Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 31 runs in the game before, the Buccaneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Anclote's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Gulf, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Everything went Anclote's way against Gulf in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Anclote made off with a 12-0 victory. Will Anclote repeat their success, or does Gulf have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
