Basketball Game Preview: Tripoli Panthers vs. Janesville Wildcats

Tripoli is 0-10 against Janesville since December of 2019 but things could change on Friday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Tripoli Panthers challenge the Janesville Wildcats at 7:45 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Tripoli was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-48 to Rockford. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Janesville had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Riceville by a score of 67-56 on Tuesday.

Tripoli's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Janesville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Tripoli was taken down by Janesville 80-39 when the teams last played back in January. Can Tripoli avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
