Softball Recap: Pflugerville Takes a Loss

Pflugerville lost against Elgin back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pflugerville Panthers lost 14-3 to the Elgin Wildcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Noemie Jackson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Pflugerville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Elgin, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-11.

Coming up, Pflugerville will square off against Hendrickson at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Pflugerville has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Elgin, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Elgin Wildcats take on Pflugerville Connally Cougars at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. They are facing Pflugerville Connally at the right time seeing as Pflugerville Connally is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
