Johannesburg-Lewiston barely beat Rogers City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Hurons on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Johannesburg-Lewiston's sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Rogers City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
