Baseball Recap: Coffee County Central Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Coffee County Central Red Raiders came up short against The Webb School Feet and fell 6-3. The loss was the Red Raiders' first of the season.

Coffee County Central got a good showing from Leiton Yancer, who pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

On the hitting side, Coffee County Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matt Moore, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coffee County Central fell to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coffee County Central will venture away from home to face off against Riverdale at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Webb School, they will head out to square off against Tullahoma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
