Arete Prep has gone 6-0 against Lincoln Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Arete Prep CHARGERS will take on the Lincoln Prep Lightning at 6:00 p.m.

Arete Prep is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering San Tan Charter just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Roadrunners could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the CHARGERS's first draw of the season.

They hit San Tan Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Blade Hingson, Owen Whitehead, and Ben Fornoff.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Prep kept a clean sheet against Rancho Solano Prep last Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lightning as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

With that draw, Arete Prep's record moves to 5-8-1. As for Lincoln Prep, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.

Arete Prep took their victory against Lincoln Prep when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. Will Arete Prep repeat their success, or does Lincoln Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
