Baseball Recap: Lincoln Gets the Win

Lincoln's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Skyline Eagles by a score of 5-2. The Railsplitters' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Vince Miano tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Aidan Sullivan was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Labadie, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Lincoln's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Skyline, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 2-2.

Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
