Basketball Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hillsboro can now relate to. They came up short against the Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets on Friday, falling 62-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since December 20, 2024.

Hillsboro's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

As of now, neither Hillsboro nor Wauzeka-Steuben have any future games scheduled.
