Recap: WF West Bearcats vs. Aberdeen Bobcats
The WF West Bearcats had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 41-14 victory over Aberdeen. The result was nothing new for WF West, who have now won three contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aidan Watkins, who rushed for 113 yards.
WF West is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Aberdeen, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. WF West will take on Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Centralia will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 245th, while WF West is ranked 89th). As for Aberdeen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shelton is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
