Basketball Recap: Kuna Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Kuna came into Saturday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 45-41 W over the Capital Golden Eagles on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Kavemen also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Kuna's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Capital, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-6.

Kuna and Capital could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings. Kuna (ranked 42nd) will meet Borah (ranked seventh) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Capital will challenge Eagle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 26 places (29 vs. 3).
