Basketball Recap: Marie Philip Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Marie Philip has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 58-44 bruising from the Cambridge Gryphons on Tuesday. The Galloping Ghosts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gryphons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

DeLeon has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 47 times he's played. Henry Wentworth was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Marie Philip's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-4.
