Lamar hadn't done well against Martin recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lamar Vikings blew past the Martin Warriors 59-39. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Lamar's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Fennix Roberts led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 boards gave Roberts a new career-high. Markesia Webster was another key player, going 6 of 10 en route to 17 points.

Lamar's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-11. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Martin, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.
