Softball Recap: Tularosa Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tularosa can now relate to. They lost 12-2 to the Dexter Demons on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tularosa's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Dexter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tularosa will welcome St. Michael's at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Horsemen have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Dexter, they will host Robertson at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Demons surely won't give up without a fight.
