Basketball Game Preview: Elyria Christian vs. Hanover Wildcats

Elyria Christian will take on the Hanover Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Elyria Christian comes in on seven and Hanover on five.

Elyria Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past South Haven to the tune of 57-24. Elyria Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 29 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Hanover beat Logan/Palco 56-51 on Saturday.

Elyria Christian better keep an eye on Braylon Meyn. He was instrumental in Hanover's win, putting up 23 points and seven boards. Meyn continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jack Bruna, who posted eight points.

Elyria Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-4-1. As for Hanover, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Elyria Christian came up short against Hanover in their previous meeting back in March of 2021, falling 52-40.
