Jasper entered their tilt with Deer on Monday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They breezed by the Deer Antlers to the tune of 86-55. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 24 points or more this season.

Several Antlers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mason Guinnip, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine boards. Guinnip has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he's played. Kaden Moore was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Jasper's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Deer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Jasper wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 79-53 win against Founders Classical Academy on the 17th. As for Deer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 76-62 defeat against Kingston on the 17th.
