Softball Recap: Union Parish Takes a Loss

Union Parish fell victim to Dodson and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 20-0 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-3 back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Union Parish and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Dodson, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-16.

Coming up, Union Parish will head out to take on Gibsland-Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dodson, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Red River at 5:00 p.m. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
