There's no place like home for Salem Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Timpview Thunderbirds by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Skyhawks: when they faced off against the Thunderbirds back in August, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Salem Hills walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-21, 15-25, 25-13, 25-23.

Kate Keisel paced Salem Hills' offense, picking up 18 kills. Keisel got some help from Evee Schaerrer and her 32 assists. Finally, Kaycee Van Horn kept Salem Hills' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

The victory snapped Salem Hills' losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-14 record. As for Timpview, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Salem Hills is set to square off against their familiar foe Wasatch at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Timpview will challenge rival Payson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
