Soccer Recap: Poteet Takes a Loss

Poteet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls), falling 7-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Aggies of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Poteet's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Uvalde, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Poteet will square off against Pleasanton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Uvalde, they will face off against Somerset at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Uvalde will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
