The Daphne Trojans will head out on the road to take on the Baldwin County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Daphne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Daphne beat Bayside Academy 3-1.

Alexia Charqueno and Haile Moorer scored all three of Daphne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Baldwin County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Robertsdale on Tuesday. They blew past the Golden Bears 6-1. With the Tigers ahead 3-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Daphne pushed their record up to 9-1-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five contests. As for Baldwin County, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3-2.

Daphne was able to grind out a solid win over Baldwin County when the teams last played back in March of 2021, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Daphne since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
