Soccer Game Preview: Booker T. Washington vs. Collinsville

The Booker T. Washington Hornets will face off against the Collinsville Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Booker T. Washington is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They beat Pryor by a goal, winning 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for Booker T. Washington as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Collinsville had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Collinsville, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Collinsville's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. As for Booker T. Washington, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
