Basketball Recap: North Callaway Takes a Loss

North Callaway lost against Montgomery County last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The North Callaway Thunderbirds were outmatched by the Montgomery County Wildcats and fell 82-35. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 355th in Missouri, while the Wildcats are ranked 22nd in Missouri).

North Callaway's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jamarion Glover, who posted eight points and six rebounds, and Caleb Sheets, who put up 12 points. Glover is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played.

North Callaway's record now sits at 11-16. As for Montgomery County, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-1.

As of now, neither North Callaway nor Montgomery County have any future games scheduled.
