Camp Point Central came out on top against Calhoun/Brussels by a score of  16-7. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by  exactly nine  points.

 Camp Point Central wouldn't let Calhoun/Brussels keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles.  Jase Wallace was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance.
 Althoff Catholic pushed their record up to 12-0 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.7 points. As for Camp Point Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
 Saturday's   game might be decided in the on the ground. Althoff Catholic has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 236  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Camp Point Central struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 326.3. It's looking like  Saturday's  match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
 Althoff Catholic suffered a grim  42-22 defeat to Camp Point Central  in their previous meeting  back in November of 2023. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Althoff Catholic was down  30-0.
