If Riverwalk Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lamar, they should've done a better job of containing Lamont Williams. The Lamar Silver Foxes took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 82-21 win over the Riverwalk Academy Lions thanks in part to Williams, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (six).

Another player making a difference was NyShaun 'Shaun' Quillen, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. Lamar is 2-1 when Quillen posts eight or more rebounds, but 7-12 otherwise.

Despite the loss, Riverwalk Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Steven Morrison posted eight points.

The victory made it two in a row for Lamar and bumps their season record up to 9-13. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 49.5 points. As for Riverwalk Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Lamar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-45 loss against C.A. Johnson on the 7th. As for Riverwalk Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 94-33 defeat against Lewisville on the 6th.
