Baseball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans, falling 18-0. The shutout was out of character for the Tigers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Jace Gambill made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-11-1.

While Trinity had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
