Hill School and Pennington are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Rams will head out to face off against the Red Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Hill School fell victim to Kiski School and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pennington entered their tilt with Allentown on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Redbirds.

Pennington got a great performance from Caden Burns as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Pennington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bam Pelzer, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Pelzer's first of the season.

Hill School's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pennington, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything went Hill School's way against Pennington in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Hill School made off with a 9-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
