Soccer Recap: Monticello Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Monticello was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Pine Bluff Zebras. The game was the first time Monticello have beaten Pine Bluff on their pitch since March 4, 2017.

Monticello's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. As for Pine Bluff, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monticello will head out to face off against Stuttgart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Bluff, they will challenge Hot Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
