Basketball Recap: Billingsley Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

Billingsley had won four straight road games and Alana Jones did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Billingsley Bears put the hurt on the Maplesville Red Devils with a sharp 52-28 victory thanks in part to Jones, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 41 times she's played.

Billingsley is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Maplesville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
