Football Game Preview: Community Christian Royals vs. Coalgate Wildcats

The Community Christian Royals will head out to face off against the Coalgate Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Community Christian has given up an average of 37.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Community Christian managed to slip by Dibble the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Royals took a blow against the Demons on Friday, falling 48-7. The Royals were down 35-0 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coalgate). They managed a 26-21 win over Comanche on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Community Christian and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Coalgate, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Community Christian against Coalgate in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 53-20 win. In that game, the Royals amassed a halftime lead of 38-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
