Softball Recap: Onsted Takes a Loss

Onsted was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to the Hudson Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Onsted saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alana Ramsey, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Onsted's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hudson, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Onsted will square off against Adrian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Maples have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.22 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hudson, they will challenge Britton Deerfield at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
