Tucker had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They secured an 86-80 W over the Jonesboro Cardinals on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in December of 2024, they had to take a 83-66 loss.

Jonesboro's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tim Prather, who went 10-for-16 to rack up 24 points. The dominant performance also gave Prather a new career-high in field goal percentage (63%). Isaiah Turman was another key player, shooting 63% from the field en route to 14 points along with seven boards and five assists.

Tucker is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. With the loss, Jonesboro broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-9.

Tucker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-40 defeat against Pace Academy on the 1st. Jonesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
