Basketball Game Preview: Pine Hill Warriors vs. Fort Sumner/House

Channing James continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 63% from the field to rack up 28 points. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Elias Davis, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 16 points.

Meanwhile, Fort Sumner/House lost to Logan on the road by a 104-87 margin on Saturday. Fort Sumner/House hasn't had much luck with Logan recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pine Hill's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points over those games. As for Fort Sumner/House, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-7.

Pine Hill took a serious blow against Fort Sumner/House in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, falling 85-25. Can Pine Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
