Softball Recap: Lynden Christian Comes Up Short

Lynden Christian fell victim to Montesano and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Lyncs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lynden Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Montesano, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynden Christian will venture away from home to take on Nooksack Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lynden Christian's pitchers better be ready for this one: Nooksack Valley has averaged an impressive 13.5 runs per game this season. As for Montesano, they and Black Hills will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 4:30 p.m. on April 7.
