Volleyball Recap: Southwest Minnesota Christian Takes a Loss

Southwest Minnesota Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Worthington Trojans. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since August 31, 2017, but that streak is no more.

Southwest Minnesota Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Worthington, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 10-16.

Looking ahead, Southwest Minnesota Christian will square off against Red Rock Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Worthington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
